This week we had the honour of presenting ‘The Anthony Wilson Prize For Excellence In Popular Music’, to Stefan Elmes (BCU 2022), Oliver Whorwood (BCU 2021) and Nicholas Allen (University of Wolverhampton 2022). We would like to congratulate the three winners on their hard work and wish them the best of luck in their creative ventures going forward.

We sponsor the Anthony Wilson Prize as we feel it helps encourage outstanding creative individuals in the West Midlands to pursue a career in the music industry. This marries well to Anthony Wilson who was a passionate creative and a notable character in the music industry. We hope that this award will help add to Wilson’s legacy and inspire the next generation of creative talent.
