Ted Taforo is a Los Angeles-based musician known for his powerful saxophone sound, versatility and unique compositions. Taforo has recorded and/or performed with many artists including Spoon, Duncan Thum, Efajemue, Telemakus, Jeff Bernat, Kan Wakan, Superet, Maxim Ludwig, the BABAorchestra, Michael Mull, Johanna Samuels, and more. Taforo is a two-time recipient of the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award and is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and California Institute of the Arts. Taforo's compositions are featured on four solo albums of original music and in the experimental jazz/rock group Snow Nerds. Taforo has been featured on JUNO award and GRAMMY award nominated albums.
