Gray Dens is made up of Grady Penna and Jayden Williams. Grady wrote all the songs, and provided vocals, arrangements, the majority of guitar, drums on “Digital Sky” and bass on “Digital Sky” and “Fade Away”. Jayden was responsible for the entirety of the EPs production, mixing, and mastering, as well as playing synthesisers, keyboards, and creating various soundscapes. The two were aided by Tyler Penna, who provided drums on multiple tracks, bass on “Artificial Womb” and slide guitar. Grady, a Southern California native, and Jayden, who is based out of Melbourne Australia, recorded and worked on every song remotely, slowly building out the songs piece by piece, despite thousands of miles separating them. The project was born from a creative synergy between the two friends, combining their unique yet compatible styles into an intoxicating blend of dream pop, folk, indie rock, and synth-pop.
