Money released their debut album, “Trust Me,” through Heavy Metal America in 1984. The band consisted of Michael Jaye on Lead Vocals, Tommy “Lead” Weisend on Guitar, Rick “Happy” Hall on Drums, Rick LaGray on Bass and Jeff Gastineau on Keyboard and Rhythm Guitar. The band were based in Ohio, with their album being recorded there, their promotional photographs being taken there and their fan club being based there.
Money’s relationship with Heavy Metal America, and Heavy Metal Records as a whole, ended after this one album. They would go on to self release a follow up, titled “In The Red,” in 1988, but this would be their final release. The band are not to be confused with the British Indie Rock band of the same name.
