Debase | Domination
A pure metal record, Debase’s second album Domination looked to employ a polished edge to create a mainstream metal record. This album succeeds where efforts by bands like Metallica failed. This has all the hallmarks of a fantastic metal record, the music is brutal in nature, vocally it’s restrained, avoiding the typical screams that blighted many albums and it’s also got a solid, heavy rhythm. This is an album that get swept away, but it’s too good not to revisit.
