The one and only record from The Dunes, Socializing W/Life is a wonderfully paced indie record with the hint that this band could take a heavier turn at any time. There are some beautiful moments in the acoustic tracks, while the more rock oriented tracks are visceral and well constructed. A short burst on the scene from The Dunes, which is a shame, but at least they left this stunning record behind them.
