While not Michael Cooper’s first record, This Heart Of Mine came after a substantial break from the music scene as a solo artist. This record is a smooth urban record with the kind of slow jams that would make any R&B star jealous. This has the vague hint of Prince about it, it’s got a swing and a funk that very few urban record do. This is the kind of record you kick back and relax to, and for that reason, it is perfect.
