The Miscellaneous All Good Weeds Grow Up

REV201 (1996)

At the height of Britpop, there were a few bands that stood out from the crowd. The Miscellaneous were one such band, their brand of indie wasn’t as pop oriented as that of Blur and wasn’t as old school 60’s rock as Oasis, preferring instead to write music similar to their more niche peers. This album is a mix of the more blues rock and darker sides of indie, an album that brings together the two in a wonderful mix of perfection.
