Pete Kent is an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist from Wolverhampton, England.
Utilising a unique style of playing, he encompasses bass lines, chords, melody and percussion simultaneously. This often gives the listener the impression they are hearing multiple musicians playing individual instruments.
Through performing his own compositions and arrangements of well known artists' material, Pete has gained global recognition and received plaudits from some of the world's most renowned guitarists including Andy McKee, Michael Fix and level 42 bassist Mark King.
Pete's YouTube videos have been featured on Acoustic Guitar Magazine USA and Guitarworld.com further enhancing his reputation globally. He is also an official Ibanez artist, and records demo videos to showcase their acoustic guitars from time to time: after all, it takes a versatile artist to properly demonstrate the capabilities of an instrument, and Pete is nothing if not versatile.
Pete signed to Revolver Records in 2013, releasing his debut album "The Sands Of Time". Pete's second album "The Hidden Hand" was released in May 2016 and has received 5 star reviews in the UK, Europe and USA.
