Dragster

Dragster

Emerging during the first wave of the N.W.O.B.H.M movement in the United Kingdom, 'Dragster' were one of the first bands to sign to Heavy Metal Records. However these were not your typical Metal band, they mixed the best of British Metal from the early 80's with Hard Rock, becoming a cross of Saxon and Kiss. The band released their first and only single 'Ambitions' in 1981, which was recorded at Impulse Sound Studio and featured the single 'Ambitions and the B-side 'Won't Bring You Back'. The line up featured Mike Stansfield on Bass, Steve Grant on Drums, Andy Trafford on Guitar, and Derick Pickles on Vocals.
