Sylum

Sylum

Emerging from Toronto, Canada in the mid 1980s, Sylum were the epitome of the new wave movement. Led by Bobby Sylum on vocals, and comprising Tim Welch on guitars, Rick Boffo on bass, Dawna Zeeman and Mark Horz on keyboards and Ross Vegas on drums and percussion, the band unfortunately only ever released one album, 1985's Sylum, released by FM-Revolver throughout Europe and the UK.

However, just because the band hasn't been active since then, that isn't to say that its individual members haven't been: The Jeff Healey Band, National Velvet, and Jackalope have all benefitted from the musical services of members of the band, just to name a few.
