Dream had three releases through Black Records/ FM-Revolver Records in their career: 1987's Desires, 1988's Do The Trip (both 12" singles) and finally, their debut LP, The Dream. The exact lineup of the band on their first release is uncertain, but on the other two they kept a stable core lineup of Mark Colwill on bass guitar, Gurminder Singh on drums and Simon Siegel on guitar and vocals. Bill Bailey is credited with guitar on Do the Trip, while Robert Howard takes this credit for The Dream.
Unfortunately, the band's first LP would be their last. However, Mark Colwill went on to enjoy some success with the band Tindersticks, Simon Siegel has enjoyed success of a different nature altogether with his company Atomic Interiors, Robert Howard had already enjoyed success with The Blow Monkeys and went on to enjoy further success under the pseudonym Dr. Robert - while this was the end for the band, it was by no means the end for its members.
